MRSA (methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus) has become a serious concern in today's world. Cases have been reported in many schools across the country and even here in Central Ohio.

A relatively new threat in the community, this bacterium has become resistant to most antibiotics and is being seen increasingly in schools, locker rooms, jails and other similar facilities. Standard cleaning procedures are not totally effective in eliminating this bacterium.

Casualty Cleanup is prepared to deal with MRSA contamination. We use cold fogging with Sporicidin© antimicrobial for rapid kill of the bacteria. In addition, Sporicidin© has a residual effect that will continue to kill MRSA and other microbials for up to 6 months.
